One of the many successes people have online is the ability to make content move. It is one thing to have content sit and be read by those that find it, yet it is another to have others discussing it.. That’s where using viral techniques come in and i will discuss in this post..
First of let’s look at what Viral is online, it is a way in which content or information is spread around with little or no effort much on the publisher.. To have this happen to anyone there needs to be a number of factors at play.
Below are ways in which to increase the possibility of some of your content going and increasing your traffic tenfold.. If you do not fully believe in viral possibilities as yet online for increasing traffic, many successful online do it all the time. In fact some only get traffic from viral aspects off there site alone..
1. Controversy – Everyone loves talking about controversy, whether it is a post (page) or not..
2. Emotion – Everyone is really emotional creatures.. Emotion creates discussion..
3. Communications – Ways in which to spread that powerful information..
What i mean by controversy, is it like gossip and what happens with gossip, it gets spread.. In a way it is like your opinion on a subject which may cause some debate. The more controversy, the more chances another blogger or website owner may write about you or your opinion and include a valuable link to your website. This in turn creates back links and then the traffic begins..
I was asked once is negative controversy good or bad..? Like in any situation negative can have a negative effect, however a negative controversy online can have positive effect. Imagine ten bloggers writing about (a post) how much they think your blog post they disagree with.. All of which linking to you.. Then you comment back saying, i see your point and the many debates are created.. That’s ten possible links and more as the debate continues.. Top marketers know this trick and use it all the time.. As an example of this many top marketers will discuss there earnings, I earn a thousand from this and this and this and look at how many i referred and look how easy it is to make this.. Then what happens… People write about it on there blogs.. Maybe they do earn that much or maybe they do not, either way each link helps them..
This is what is referred to as controversy linking.. “This blogger earns this much, check out his monthly payment page here..”
This creates traffic (links), controversy and money when people write about your content.. Even if the blogger that writes there opinion of them not earning that much it still creates traffic for them and hey presto..
Emotion is a powerful element. If you can touch someones heart or open someones eyes to something that pulls a heart string it can have massive effects other than just creating a more enthusiastic audience. People tend to help those that effect there heart or emotions without even thinking. In a way this is like finding the emotion you can bring forth in to any page and post and putting yourself out there to how you feel in a way..
A bit of emotion goes a long way, so use it..
Communications is the element of making a post or a page or content easy to share. It is one thing to have great content people want to share, however it is another to make sure it is easy to share. Add some social network buttons or ways in which people can easily discuss before a persons inspiration of sharing is distracted.. This is a very important element to any blog, as well as always make it very easy for people to subscribe to your blog as well.. Keep the discussion of your content moving..

No matter how we look at it viral aspects of creating content is available to everyone. It is all about fine tuning your content, making it as good as it can be, creating emotion, creating controversy, making it easy to share and then of course keeping at it.. Always look at your audience like how you would like to be read yourself..
This is a follow up post to my last post on the Infolinks Publisher program Vs the earnings of Google AdSense. While many have mixed perspectives, I still find personally Infolinks pays a little bit more than the AdSense program. Overall I believe it is because of the CTR which is a lot higher than AdSense.

Bonus Affiliate Program Earnings Below.

Above I have added some much asked (recent) Infolinks Payment Proofs to show they pay and encourage more to try.. If you have not tried Infolinks, now may be the time.. To sign up or for more info click here.
1. Can you use Infolinks with AdSense? Yes they can be used with AdSense..
2. Do you need a minimum amount of traffic to use them? No, any traffic level is fine however high content sites are recommended. More traffic the more earnings..
3. Do they pay via PayPal? Yes, any earnings over $100 is paid out as seen above. Can take up to two months once threshold is reached.
4. Are the Infolinks links Customizable? They have two forms of links, the double line and single line. Each of which you can choose the colour.
5. Are Infolinks easy to set up? They are so easy to implement on a site, just sign up and then add the code to your footer or install the wordpress plugin.. Follow the steps and it will be set in minutes..
6. Can Infolinks be Optimised? If you want better targeting, Infolinks can look at your site and tailor better keyword targeting allowing more conversion and hence more earnings. I find the targeting is good without it, but I will let you decide there.
7. How do you earn with Infolinks? The way one earns with infolinks is when people click on the in text links. Each link that is clicked is a large portion of what the advertiser pays per click. In a way very similar to AdSense or Bidvertiser publisher networks.

Scammers are everywhere. Online is not much different. These days many scammers try to use the mass communication facilities of the Internet to try to trick people. In another name, emails…
You may or may not be aware of these, you may get an email claiming to be a bank or an email claiming you won a prize. Try not to be fooled, they all generally lead to getting your credit card or online bank details. Basically said to steal your hard earned money.. Scam alert..!
Why there is so many low people who do this type of fraud, that’s another question in itself and debate. The best trick to avoiding or detecting these scams is to be very vigilant and aware. Look at common spelling mistakes, in these emails, dodgy redirects or password requests.. (Yes that is right, many online web scammers cannot spell. Not all..)
Also ask yourself why an email would ask you to update your bank or paypal details, or even say you have won something when you have not. Or why some prince would want to deposit large sums of his or her wealth to you to help them escape there country.. These are all scams, so don’t be fooled.
The second way scammers attack is via your browser. Make sure to double check bank URLs if you use online banking and check for SSL (gold padlock seen on browser). Also when shopping make sure to use a secure form of payment (such as PayPal or another SSL credit card processor) to disclose you credit card details.
Another tip is when creating an email try to be more unique, it can help heaps to make a scammer less likely to find your email account. Also if you run a blog or website be careful of exposing personal details unless you want unwanted spam or unwanted hack attempts.
Overall internet scams are really easy to spot when you know what you have to look out for. Below are the most important things to watch out for :
If you can think of any ways to a spot a scammer online, comment below.
This is always a hard question, so many people look at there blogs like it is personal diary. While others may even take it so far as to believe money should not be made from blogging. The truth is either way if you want to make money from a blog we all need to look at it differently. Read on if your interested in making money from your blog or future blog..
First of all it is all about perspective really. Let’s take a commercial business like a street front shop. The outgoing costs are huge, yet these businesses still make money am i right? They have to take into account rent, electricity, insurance, theft costs, hiring staff and the list goes further and further.
However now when we look at the online world of business what do we see.. Hosting costs, a url, some creativity and some time and wolla.. There is no rent, hiring costs, or electricity bills for a shopfront, it is simply online.. Value seems more oriented on creativity and time of creation of the blog. Yet is that not the same as working in a shopfront, darn hard time and investment and what are the risks.. It may not even make a profit..?
So what does this mean to many? How can we make a business of a blog..? Simply see your blog like a business and treat it like one. Make a timetable of what you want, how much traffic you want or more, how much you wish to invest in time and paid advertising. Basically said treat it like you would if it was a physical shop..
To some i even know the concept of making money from a blog only awoke once made in the first place. Eg. They got a check from one of there affiliate sponsors or Infolinks or AdSense. Who knows, but for many it is like they never thought of it as real money maker, until they got the money..
One line i heard recently from a Blogger.. “I need a real business..”
Which i replied “what about your online blog” and they said “oh i mean a shop front..” “My blog does okay but it does not feel real.” It is amazing how one month later her changing and tweaking her blog to make a few adjustments made her hundreds of extra dollars. What about a couple of months later..? Now she sees what i mean by looking at it like a business. If only she saw it earlier she says to me later on..
I just love the simplicity of the online world, how we can take a unique niche and in time convert it sales and make it a full or part time income.. When you look at the online world via other forms of income online really is really limitless..
1. Add related niche affiliate banners or ads to compliment your site and make money..
2. Add in content ads. They pay well, one example is Infolinks.
3. Pay for related adverting in similar niches. What form of advertising is up to you, but just make sure to keep records to claim it on tax as an expense..
4. Invest time in to it like you would a conventional business. Make a timetable.
5. Subscribe to my blog to receive tips and tricks to help on many forms of online money making tips and blog tips.
6. Lastly choose a niche that you enjoy as that way you choose an online business you enjoy and that way it really is not work if you enjoy it, am i right..?
7. Have a incoming and outgoing draw for costs and money made. See it like a business, set it up like a business. These all help. That way you can more easily see what you can spend and what you can get back on invested time or money…

This post is dedicated to understanding an affiliate programs click worth better and so to better know your investment value with them.. It is based on mathematics and conversions giving the results a webmaster needs to make more money online. While some may know all about conversions and how to monitor them, adjust them and to master them this is a guide post for those working out converting programs value for beginners..
What made me want to discuss this element was a blogger friend recently asked me why do affiliate programs pay more than AdSense or PPC’s..? The answer was easy, however can be hard to attain or work out why for those new to the affiliate marketing game..
So my answer was, it is all about finding the click value.. Take any targeted affiliate program that converts from your website or blog and look at its clicks it receives to conversions. Then divide your earnings by your clicks. This will give you a basic click value. Below is how to do this yourself..
Let’s take an example of a referral program I recommend and see it’s click value worth and earnings. Okay so let’s use Bidvertiser referral program (from this blog) as an example converting in about 1 sale per 50 clicks. Each value of sale varies but can be estimated of value as $10 to begin, then possibly later $40 more. So a total possible value of $50. After looking at this figure we first divide 100 by $20 getting its initial click value of 20 cents per click. While not all sales go any further, about half do so giving an extra $80 commission later possibly adding 80 more cents to each click, increasing its value to a dollar per click. While this does not happen each time, a possible optimistic 50 cents per click is very realistic depending on customers purchases, publishers clicks (etc) with the Bidvertiser referral program.
Okay so other programs may be different based on commission structure. It makes sense that a blog about hosting can get massive conversions of recommending hosting referrals or a blog focused on health related will do the same in the health industry referrals. All one needs to do is work out the click worth of each program.
Anything over 30 cents per click is a winner if you ask me.. Over 50 cents per click is brilliant and over a Dollar you have mastered affiliate conversions for your website..
If your site makes close to 30 cents but less per click, then is it worth promoting you may ask? Well i will leave that up to you, how many conversions your site produces and what are your online goals. While going for over 30 cents worth sounds easy it can depend totally on your target audience, your influence and the value of how your site comes across to your readers.. Work on these and click conversions may improve..
Okay so back to what i was asked about AdSense or other PPC programs. The answer being good click worth affiliate conversions are better.. While there is no way any PPC program can come close to affiliate sales earnings of mastered affiliate conversions, they are still a part of a website or blogs value.. And like i have said on many other occasions, do not put all your earnings in the one place. Multiple streams is the way..
