Have you ever wondered how much unique traffic you need to get money from your website or blog? Well there is so many factors here ranging from what the customer or reader wants from your website. Generally though if a person is searching for hemp clothes and you own a hemp clothes website when they get to your website from that search then it is a closer sale than just a unique visitor.

Here is some factor elements that make results, then after i will generalise a traffic amount.

• 50% of the traffic is Unique targeted traffic
• 80% of traffic or more is from the search engines
• A good template for readers and buyers. eg. good pics, colour placement etc.
• Well written content

Ok you think you have all them then lets look at the figures. I have always found anything over 500 unique visitors a day consisting of many of the elements above will generate an online income. Although it depends on what you see as a good income. For me if one website generates around $800 a month it is great.

From my own research and experience 500 visitors a day (with the above elements) can generate around $800 dollars a month.

How many pages in my website do i need to get that much unique traffic you might ask?

Well it depends on the product or service, i have seen that amount of targeted traffic with 400 pages. However while I’m generalising around 1000 pages on your Blog or on most websites can generate this amount of traffic. All taking into consideration keyword placement in the search engines etc.

If a thousand visitors doesn’t however, you could just keep writing or making content till 500 unique is achieved. Sorry if it’s not as easy as it sounds..lol..

It’s always good to have beginning goals for your website and i have just put my goal up on my wall… We all have to start somewhere first so i thought this would be a good realistic Goal for the Buyers Web Blog…

What i came up with was a long term goal as the Buyers Web Blog is still a young blog..

In a earlier post i wrote about achieving realistic goals, this is one of those ones i mentioned. In order to achieve my goal i have to look at many aspects as i build my blog up. As i go along i will inform you of my progress. Here is a list of some aspects i want to achieve to help get to this result.

• 3000 feed email readers plus by December, currently under 100 (this blog only started a month ago)
• 1200 unique visitors a day or more by December
• Quality advertising and placement that relates to this blog. eg Bidvertiser
• Writing 3 quality posts a day for readers
• Inserting and using the social networks page ratings on my blog posts
• Using more Seo with some of my pages and posts

When we strip everything away what is most important? For someone that is humble, the least is usually money… However to appeciate all of the above we must use money as a tool to keep the others going. So how do we balance our life? By focusing on your passions in life will the money just come?

Usually yes, but you will never know unless you follow your passions…just remember always be happy because life is short.

Well i have to say bidvertiser has surprised me again with there publisher program. Not only do there ads open in a new window for visitors but they also you are able to set your mimimum bid…

Wow what a bonus there. If your in your Bidvertiser account you can see the current bidders for your category and also there bid amounts.

So if you want all your advertising on your website being only advertisers that pay $1.00 or more for there bid then you can deselect all bids lower than that. Then all clicks you recieve then on your website are from high bidders therefore you have just improved your earnings per click.

An example of this is if you earned $5.00 a week in Bidvertiser earnings, then simply by changing this small detail you could turn it into $30 plus a week. To get to this setting just go to the bidvertiser centre tab in your account and then to ads status. Then click on your ad category and select.

Well we have all heard the saying on the Internet “make money online doing nothing“…Is it possible? Well to begin with if we did nothing then nothing would ever get done. There are however ways to make money online once set up, that don’t involve any more work..

This type of making money is called residual earning, once it is setup then the money keeps coming in.
