Now that is the new year I am looking for a fresh start and I am hoping to purchase a new laptop as well.. Well basically I want to buy a new laptop..! My two year old hp compaq is good but lately it has been running really slow and it needs a fresh format. Another disappointment is that it cannot play a lot of the latest computer games… “Oh damn, I have been complaining so much in this post, sorry about that people…”
What I have been hoping for in a dream laptop is this -
- Nice Cache level
- Dual Processor 2.6 Ghz or higher
- Nvidia 256 or 512 Mb video card or higher ( for games etc)
- 2 to 4 GB or higher Ram
- 200 GB Hard Drive
- Lightweight, but still a nice wide-screen similar to compaq.
- Windows Xp, for some reason Vista and I do not agree..
“What do you look for in a Laptop?”
I have been looking at a few options in Amazon as well to get a bit more of an idea.. I added some of the Laptops I was looking at to this post. If you do not have a Laptop yourself, what would be your ultimate?
If you are wondering why I did not put some brands up of the desired Laptop above, the main reason is I used to make up computers for people and after you have made computers for a while without branding you start to ignore brands and just look for what is inside…
I would love to hear some other peoples opinions on buying a Laptop so please feel free to comment below..
