Well i was asked to do a review on merchant accounts and first i thought i would choose Paypal. Well where do i begin..i first started my processing payments with a company named Worldpay, an all round 5% for processing transactions and a setup fee as well..after many months with them the waiting period for payment was frustrating…
I always thought of Paypal, but ignored it as an option because i thought it was not a straight forward processor for credit cards…I was wrong…After many hassles with other merchant accounts i thought just put Paypal there to fill the time between finding another merchant other that Worldpay, which was just downright too expensive..
I looked at companies like 2co, Moneybookers, Paymate (similar to Paypal) and so many others i was like “please where can i find a decent merchant account that has all the things i want… ” After searching merchant to merchant for a few weeks i decided to just do a review on my Paypal earnings and stats per customer….And i noticed something…
Oh farout…i was getting better ROI (people buying) with Paypal with my websites…i was like wow…i checked the stats thoroughly and yes i was right, people preferred Paypal..well that got me by surprise…I soon got to work and edited the payment process for Paypal and set it up fully for my website.
I noticed many benefits with Paypal and i would like to share them..
- They have a large community of members
- They process all the main credit cards, no need to be a Paypal member for Payment off your website..
- You can accept payment in most currencies..that’s a big one…
- You can withdraw money from Paypal at any time and it doesn’t cost you…
- You can convert the money in real time from your admin
- Easy integration for websites
- Paypal is a Trusted payment Gateway online now…
- No Monthly fees on Paypal
- Small processing cost 2 – 3% per order through Paypal
- Buyer Protection on Paypal
Anyway here is just some of the benefits to name..and i recommend them as part of your business online, i mean if you are already using a processor that you like then maybe have paypal as an option in payments section…Using both could increase your revenue drammatically…
If you are not already a member but would like to try them out…then you can sign up by clicking here for Paypal.
