Myspace and Facebook advertising

It seems like one new way of advertising is by using the freind networks myspace and facebook. People using them to network people together to help sell there service or products from another site. I have noticed it has always been good for bands getting there songs out but recently i have noticed alot of adult sites coming into the mix.

Signs on detecting the adult ones are a really beautiful girl in the pic and usually only one pic…a adult porn link asking to see more of the girl on the main page. This user then spams myspace with lots of friend requests asking to be your friend. Hoping in the end to draw more sales and traffic to the adult site. These reuests generally you find the myspace site owner wont reply thanking for the add. The myspace team seems to be removing these as time progresses but some are becoming very smart in hiding it..

Overall advertising on myspace has always been there, the main source being image comments…these types of websites have become very popular..

I have noticed of late, lots of spam bots using the chatrooms to to draw people to porn sites..Hopefully myspace can fix this issue too as it makes the chatters be disrupted by constant comments.

Facebook openly allows advertising on your profile for your business or website which is good and doesnt seem to draw as many spam users….
