Tintin in Vietnam and the Vietnam Journey Overview

tintin in vietnamI thought i would write a post on Vietnam from my last trip, as it had a big impact on my life and i thought i would like to share some of my experiences in Vietnam…First of all if you haven’t been to Vietnam then i recommend seeing the beautiful country…

When i arrived in Vietnam i was really surprised at how many motor bikes there are everywhere…beep beep…It’s one of those countries where nearly everyone has a motor bike…Beeping is a national road rule to let people know you are on the road, in fact i found it hard to stop using the horn when i was riding in Vietnam…

The culture in Vietnam is amazing and the people are really friendly, and open to talking…vietnam food was exceptionalThe beaches are also an excellent place to see in Vietnam as the water is crystal clear and is a good spot to hang out for the day… When i saw a shirt saying “Tintin in Vietnam” i had to get it as that was my nick name back home in Australia…

I have to say the food was awesome in Vietnam, so much competition, there menus were like a book in some places…I especially liked the traditional meals, but almost any type of food could be bought…

vietnam accomThe accommodation in Vietnam was exceptional as well..Rooms quite commonly included ac and cable and views etc for under 10 dollars US a night for a double and there standard of room cleanliness was exceptional. Yes and Internet was everywhere. Phew for me with Internet work.

Overall i just wanted to lay down some amazing points about Vietnam for my readers.

Vietnam Travel highlights –

  • Exceptional food…
  • beaches vietnamGreat affordable accommodation..
  • Amazing Culture..
  • beautiful beaches and scenery…
  • Internet Access everywhere (needed for me…)

Overall i wanted to say Vietnam is a lovely place to visit… One thing i almost left out was that everywhere you went there was something to do or see. One town in particular, a place called Dalat is an amazing place to see and is also a escape from the heat as it is high in the mountains.

As we all learn when visiting, Vietnam can get very hot sometimes.
