What is MLM? (Multi Level Marketing)

Farout i just read like twenty posts on what people thought was Mlm and they were all totally off track so i thought i would write a post on what Mlm is and how there marketing system works…First of all i would like to say it’s just another form of marketing out there…

Unlike any other program out there, Mlm has gotten a bad reputation from a few companies out there, but i will explain that in a minute…

MLM = Multi Level Marketing

Multi Level Marketing is exactly what it says, its marketing on multi Levels other than just you… People that you refer to the MLM system are marketing too although you will get a percentage of there commission of there sales from then on…Wait a second does that sound like a lot of Affiliate programs out there?…the answer is Yes Mlm’s are not much different, if not a lot of the time they are the same…

Affiliate Programs with ongoing referral commissions are MLM (Multi Level Marketing)

If you are part of an Affiliate program that pays you a percentage of the referrals commissions, it’s a MLM system…There earnings are on the level below you so Multi Level Marketing…And hence forth if they have someone below them who they have referred, then they get a commission off them…And that’s where the name comes from the “Multi Levels of Marketing”…

So are MLM’s good or beneficial to you?

Multi Level Marketing can be another smart source for income, but you have to remember there not all are the same and some charge to join… The same with some affiliate programs… However being paid in a residual way is good business always…

An example of this is say as an example i sold you some good hosting, i referred you okay…You signed up and every month instead of me receiving a one time commission for referring one time they just gave me like a percentage of the monthly billing per month while you were a customer…Sounds good hey…And so forth the customer could sign someone up below them (refer) and get a percentage of there commission per month…There can you see the levels?

• Less time consuming once set up and have a good team..
• Recommended by many top wealth advisors…
• Good extra income…

Here is money Example of what i am saying about MLM (Multi Level Marketing)…

One time Commission for customers of a Web Hosting Affiliate program is say $50 per sale as an example….Say you sell 50 hosting packages in a month, that’s

50 x 50 =$2500 well done good commission for the month…one time conventional profit…

Now if it was a MLM or an affiliate program where you got a percentage…say you got 25% of there monthly commission on sales per month for the monthly hosting on a $6 hosting plan per month…that’s…

50 x 6 = 300 x 0.25 = $75 dollars per month…$900 dollars per year…

That’s the main difference between Mlm and conventional business is the earnings are residual for a one time referring…I know the earnings are smaller first time with Mlm but you can imagine the earnings per month if say you had like 500 people you referred under you for hosting…Wow that’s a good residual income from just this one Mlm, $750 dollars per month…

Why has MLM ( Multi Level Marketing ) gotten a bad reputation?

The main reason Mlm has gotten a bad reputation is because of a few companies in the past created systems that were not able to be stable and there fore got to being referred to as a pyramid scheme…The meaning of a pyramid scheme has always been debatable but i believe the best way to look at it is a affiliate program or MLM that was solely based on sign-ups or ways of earnings that could not support itself…This in turn would make these MLM’s unstable to the point they could n’t afford to pay sellers making the company an illegal maketing system or what people call a pyramid scheme…

Making Money Online with MLM companies?

Making money with Mlm’s is a great option, however like all programs out there, even affiliate programs, make sure to do your research…It is always good to be wary if the deal or payout looks too good and so ask some questions to the MLM company…Multi Level Marketing is another smart way for making money online…In another post i will discuss how i used to be involved in a world famous MLM company called Omegatrend and my experiences with them…
